'Bout time I scanned and submitted this!
First time i ever drew something like this. Done around October of 2008, in a period of 2 weeks; on and off everyday. Because i was frustrated at myself for not drawing anymore. i went to class early in a less-than-good mood, pulled out my yellow pad, and started using my black pen to express this by sharply scribbling lines on it (this explains why the left side seems to be pretty geometrical). Ahh, that felt better.
As the morning progressed, my mood elevated, i got happier and began adding little random objects.
This continued over the next few days. Actually, i never even planned for this to be heart-shaped. The left side was only gonna be circular. Until i wrote "TO WRITE LOVE ON HER ARMS" (was bored at some Bill of Rights conference thingy) and started doodling from there, did i decide to make it heart-shaped.
I weaved in some hidden stuff if you didn't already notice (I didn't for some, though) like, a friend pointed out Jack Skellington, that i must've subconsciously drawn.

Alright this is gettin pretty lengthy. I'll finish with a perfectly good explanation for why the left side of the heart is bigger than the right:
"The left side of the heart is bigger because it pumps blood towards the rest of the body."
Blood is pumped by the left ventricle to the rest of the body through the aorta.
